Affine Maps between Cat(0) Spaces
We study affine maps between CAT(0) spaces with geometric actions, and show that they essentially split as products of dilations and linear maps (on the Euclidean factor). This extends known results from the Riemannian case. Furthermore, we prove a splitting lemma for the Tits boundary of a CAT(0) space with geometric action, a variant of a splitting lemma for geodesically complete CAT(1) space...
متن کاملMann’s algorithm for nonexpansive mappings in CAT(κ) spaces
In this paper, it is proved that the sequence defined by Mann’s algorithm ∆-converges to a fixed point in complete CAT(κ) spaces. © 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
متن کاملA Proof-Theoretic Bound Extraction Theorem for CAT (κ) -Spaces
Starting in 2005, general logical metatheorems have been developed that guarantee the extractability of uniform effective bounds from large classes of proofs of theorems that involve abstract metric structures X. In this paper we adapt this to the class of CAT(κ)-spaces X for κ > 0 and establish a new metatheorem that explains specific bound extractions that recently have been achieved in this ...
متن کاملThe modified S-iteration process for nonexpansive mappings in CAT(κ)$\operatorname{CAT}(\kappa)$ spaces
We denote the set of all fixed points of T by Fix(T); for more details see []. The concept of -convergence in general metric spaces was introduced by Lim []. Kirk [] has proved the existence of fixed point of nonexpansive mappings in CAT() spaces. Kirk and Panyanak [] specialized this concept to CAT() spaces and showed that many Banach space results involving weak convergence have precise...
متن کاملFlat graphs based on affine spaces and affine symplectic spaces
Let AG(n,Fq) be the n-dimensional affine space over the finite field Fq. For 0 ≤ m ≤ n − 1, define a graph G whose vertex set is the set of all m-flats of AG(n,Fq), such that two vertices F1 and F2 are adjacent if dim(F1∨F2) = m+1, where F1∨F2 is the minimum flat containing both F1 and F2. Let ASG(2ν,Fq) be the 2ν-dimensional affine-symplectic space over Fq. Define a graph S (ν) whose vertex se...
